Alejandra Liebbe · For Spanish teachers

I teach Spanish, train teachers and design materials.

I'm a linguist with an M.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I've been in the classroom since 2017, I train future teachers at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and I edit the teaching materials at ProfeDeELE. In all three I stand for the same idea: there is no single legitimate Spanish.

What I do

Training teachers

I teach ELE pedagogy and advanced grammar to aspiring educators in the Extension and Continuing Education Program of the Faculty of Human Sciences at Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

Designing materials

At ProfeDeELE I lead the pedagogical planning, visual design and editorial supervision of Spanish teaching resources, digital and printable, and I direct their adaptation to the Spanish of the Americas, with cultural responsiveness and dialectal accuracy.

Teaching Spanish

I still teach, because the classroom is where you find out whether everything else works. At Español al Limón I work mostly with beginners, on pathways built to get them speaking early and without fear.
